Nicolai Tufar built the IP Calculator app as an open-source application for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad). This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This policy applies to both versions.
Information Collection and Use
The IP Calculator app does not collect or transmit any personal data. All computation happens locally on your device. The app never communicates with any server, and the developer receives no information about you or how you use the app.
Network Access
The app does not request any network permissions on Android and makes no network connections on iOS. It functions entirely offline with no internet access required.
Third-Party Services
The app does not use any third-party services, analytics, crash reporting, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
Data Storage
The app stores a single setting on your device: whether dark mode is turned on. It is kept in the app’s private preferences (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS), never leaves your device, and is removed when you uninstall the app. Addresses and results you calculate are not saved.
Clipboard
When you tap a result, the app copies that value to your device’s clipboard. The app only writes to the clipboard when you tap; it never reads the clipboard.
Children’s Privacy
The app does not address anyone under the age of 13. It does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
